Career Transition/Outplacement

We work with organisations to design and deliver outplacement services for staff who are being made redundant. Rather than just taking a standard outplacement programme off-the-shelf, we tailor a package to fit both the budget of the employer and give the maximum support to the redundant employee.

Depending on the circumstances a package might include:

  • A career review to help the individual examine his/her career so far, make an assessment of key strengths, interests and transferable skills to determine how to move forward
  • Advice on producing tailored CVs to maximise the individual's impact and highlight his/her employability
  • Sessions on how to job search using a variety of media including online and social media; headhunters, executive search and recruitment agencies
  • Guidance on how to tap into the hidden job market, including networking; making informal approaches; preparing an 'elevator pitch'
  • An interview coaching session to ensure that candidates market themselves successfully during the selection process; and/or guidance on how to approach assessments
  • One to one sessions are supplemented by written material to help support the individual in his or her job search. This is customised to reflect the needs of the individual, and the market sectors/industries they are likely to seek work in.

We are also able to offer group workshops covering the above topics.
