Assessment Centres

If you want to maximise your chances of making the right selection decision, then assessment centres are the most accurate method you can use. An assessment centre involves candidates working through a range of exercises and tests specifically designed to simulate key components of the job that candidates are applying for. Its multi-task, multi-assessor approach ensures that you get a well rounded picture of candidates and can make an objective decision on who is the best candidate to hire.

In designing an assessment centre for you, we start with your selection criteria and then come up with appropriate ways of measuring these. This might include: presentations, role plays, group discussions, tests, personality questionnaires and interviews. We provide all the documentation you need: timetables, exercises, assessor guidelines, criteria based questions to run an effective assessment centre.

As well as designing the centre we have experienced facilitators, assessors and role players who can run it for you. If you would prefer to use in-company staff then we can arrange assessor training courses which will give your team the necessary skills.

Individual Assessment

There may be times when you don't have enough candidates to run a full assessment centre or where, for reasons of candidate confidentiality, it isn't appropriate to do so. In such cases we can tailor make a process for individual candidates, assess them and let you have a structured report on their performance to inform your selection decision.
